Wine known at the time of the Ancient Romans, "Gutturnium Placentiae", qualified wine of Pregio in 1941, became DOC in 1967, born by the mix of our grapes DOC Barbera 60% and Bonarda (Croatina) 40% produced by our specialized vineyards in the hills of Ziano Piacentino.
In order to protect the health of consumers, we produce and vinify our grapes only by systems of "Integrated Pest Management" LR 28/98 to safeguard human health and respect the natural environment.

This Gutturnio Reserve is produced with grapes selected and harvested by hand from a vineyard of 15 years. Aged for 6 months in stainless steel tanks and 6 months in barrique, it completes its aging in bottle.
It 'a generous wine that retains in itself the strength of Barbera refined and completed by the union with the scented Bonarda of
bright red color, aroma, pleasant and velvety, of red berries and raspberries, dry taste, fresh, savoury body, slight hint of almond.
Ideal with roasts, grilled red meats, game, stews.
Serving temperature: 18°- 20°C.
